Kathleen Chalfant was born on January 14, 1945 in San Francisco, California, USA as Kathleen Ann Bishop. She is an actress, known for 口是心非 (2009), 魔鬼二世 (1994) and 完美陌生人 (2007). She has been married to Henry Chalfant since November 26, 1966. They have two children.
Studied acting with Wynn Handman, who was a protege of Sandy Meisner.
At the time she was playing terminally ill cancer patient Vivian Bearing in "Wit," her brother was battling cancer. She shaved her head for the role.
Veteran stage actress who has won numerous acting awards, including the Outer Critics, Drama Desk, Obie and Lucille Lortel awards for her searing performance in "Wit." She won a second Obie award for "Talking Heads."
