Kate Price was born on February 13, 1872 in Cork, Ireland as Katherine Duffy. She was an actress and writer, known for Quality Street (1927), Arizona (1918) and 晾衣绳巷的阿马里利 (1918). She was married to Joseph Price Ludwig (performer). She died on January 4, 1943 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Heavyweight silent screen comedienne of prolific output, in films from 1910. Appeared in early Vitagraph shorts, then moved to Keystone in 1914. Worked with 'Fatty' Arbuckle and Buster Keaton, both on the East Coast and in Hollywood, in the late 1910's.
