Riya Sen was born on January 24, 1981 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She is an actress, known for 情义两重天 (2004), Noukadubi (2011) and Mone Pore Tomake (2000). She has been married to Shivam Tiwari since August 16, 2017.
Daughter of Moon Moon Sen and Bharat Dev Varma, a descendant of the royal family of Cooch Behar. Her maternal grandmother is 苏奇特列·欣.
Sister of actress 拉伊玛·森.
First stepped into the limelight at the age of 15 when she faced the camera for the Tamil film Taj Mahal (1999), directed by 巴拉蒂·拉贾.
She studied at the Rani Birla College in Calcutta.
Has starred in a number of music videos in the Indipop circuit.
Her first Bangladeshi film was Mone Pore Tomake (2000).
